With each bounce of the basketball, each tear retreats
With each jump shot taken, my biggest fears and my most coveted dreams meet
With each season I’ve played, Ive learned an important life lesson
Understanding that with each game I get to play
Having to know that that in itself is an amazing blessing
The game will always be full of ups and downs
Basketball serves as a taste of life everyday
The wins and losses after a certain point no longer matter
