They only look ahead
The eyes won’t let them look back
Every gain in their life is in front of them
The past reminded them of what they lacked
This type of eye and mindset
Derives from true purity and fight
It comes from life’s experiences and determination
It comes from not being able to sleep at night
In knowing what they have to offer the world
And wanting to see their way through
In their mind the light is at the end of that tunnel
