Todd Starks

Todd Starks is a former collegiate standout, current professional basketball player, basketball trainer, public speaker, and enthusiast. Starks started his career at the division 1 level at Idaho State University of the Big Sky Conference in Pocatello, Idaho. Starks played there for 2 years with his best game being against Weber St and current NBA all-star Damian Lillard posting 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Wanting to be closer to his home and family, Starks made an important decision, transferred and was part of starting a program at the NAIA Lindenwood University in Belleville Illinois where he became the first player in the history of the program to score over 1,000 points and became the school’s all-time leading scorer scoring over 1500 points in just three seasons. He currently holds single-game records for points in a season (781), 3 point field goals in a game and season (11-18 in a game, 101 in a season), and single season scoring average (24.5 ppg) which lead all NAIA players in the 2012-2013 season.

Starks has one brother, Timothy Starks, a graduate of Arizona State University. Son of Todd Duane Starks Sr and Telia Starks, one he owes all his success drive and life accomplishments to. His mom and dad met and graduated from Saint Louis University where his father played basketball for one season. His father played his basketball at the division 1 Illinois State University his first two seasons and still holds records for assists and steals in a season and in a career and was a member of the hall of fame St. Louis University team that produced the NBA Anthony Bonner. His mother has both her Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree and is also a published children’s author.
